ABOUT ME
Matt Timmermans is a Dutch entrepreneur, SEO and GEO expert, and AI automation specialist based in Bali, Indonesia. He helps businesses get found in AI search, puts AI to work for entrepreneurs and companies, and builds digital products like GiveRadar and Noisely.
What started with web design in 2018 grew into a deep focus on how people — and now AI systems — find things online. Through my agency Timmermans Media I've worked with brands like Business Insider, Bitvavo, HEMA, and Coinmerce.

Graduated in IT & Marketing at Fontys University of Applied Sciences with a specialization in cybersecurity, trained as an ethical hacker.
Founded Own Property Abroad, a platform helping investors navigate real estate markets in Southeast Asia. It became my testing ground for search strategies and led to my first software product: LandLoom, a market analysis dashboard for the Bali property market.
Specialized in generative engine optimization (GEO) and LLM optimization: the discipline that determines whether AI systems like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity mention your brand. It has been at the core of my agency work ever since.
Launched Runami, an AI running coach born from my marathon training, and Noisely, a B2B feedback scraping tool covering 22+ review platforms.
Launched GiveRadar, a free global charity transparency database that aggregates official registries from 100+ countries into data on 7.9 million+ nonprofits.
Today I combine everything I've learned across marketing, software development, and AI into one thing: building systems that help businesses get found and work smarter.

I live and work from Bali, Indonesia, and I run marathons in countries most people wouldn't think to look for one — from Tokyo to an Indonesian village half marathon as a pacer. My first marathon in Tokyo in 2025 raised training questions that grew into Runami, my AI running coach. That is how most of my products start: as a personal need I take seriously. Outside of work I train at the gym, play guitar and piano, and read a lot, mostly on spirituality, business, and history. Traveling shapes how I think; Japan, Australia, and Lebanon left the biggest mark.
In November 2026 I'm running the New York City Marathon, raising money for Pencils of Promise, an organization that builds schools in Laos, a country I've visited myself. Researching charities for that campaign is also what led me to build GiveRadar. You can support the campaign via my GoFundMe page.
